satanonthebeach asked in parseltongue:
So...what are your credentials to analyze Slytherins? How did you become the authority? (Don't take these questions the wrong way, I'm curious.)

I think my intuitive brilliance makes me quite credible and reliable.

And now that I’m done being a raging narcissist…

What ensures that this is a reliable blog is that while I may not have a degree in psychology, I do study it in my spare time and it is what I plan to go to college for. You must remember that I’m not full of wisdom and I don’t know everything; I’m not even out of high school yet. I can’t ask every single person who submits, “Excuse me sir/ma’am, what are your credentials for that statement?” Odds are, they’re just fans like me. Not someone majoring in psychological personality analysis or whatever. I don’t post all the submissions I get, because I use my judgement to see if they can relate and branch off of the qualities of Slytherins that J.K. Rowling gives.

I never anticipated the amount of followers this blog would get, and sometimes it’s overwhelming. I didn’t want this “authority” that I’ve gained by running this blog, nor did I ask for it. I do appreciate these followers, though. I’m just a fan who got lucky because people seem to like this blog. I didn’t want authority or whatever you want to call it. The responsibility of running this blog was given to me when people started asking me to keep this going.

I’m just a fan. I’m nothing special.
